Zoom in on that cauliflower doppelgänger. It’s actually a hericium mushroom. Thanks to @wild_iris__ via @snapdragonflowerfarm for the positive ID. Made excellent “crab” cakes for dinner with it. I found a couple of these growing on some cottonwood deadfall next to a bunch of oyster mushrooms up in Ferry County this weekend. Yums.
