My buddy @alex.wetmore is loaning me his bike for a while. I think the last time I rode this was for a work trip to seattle 8? Years ago? He built the frame about a decade ago. There’s so much great about this bike and this platform just doesn’t make it easy to carry on and on… The NFE was spawned, in part, from this bike. It’s a 26” wheel, low trail, standard diameter-thin walled tubing travel bike. Components are boring but smart, serviceable, and work well. It’s powder coated in the only color that makes sense for this bike. It’s been far too long since I’ve ridden a bike like this regularly. I just took it for my daily high drive trails spin. This will be a great shit weather rain bike during breaks in the snow over the winter. And I plan to take a bunch of short regional tours on it next spring and summer. Then I’ll give it back. :)
