Actually, no I was not the original owner. I never even rode it. I got the frame from a friend of mine in Milwaukee who had the misfortune of his garage roof collapsing with his bikes hanging from the rafters. He gave it too me after he collected his insurance. I had planned on fixing it for me, but it was too small. Alex expressed an interest (before I had made the repairs). So rebuilt it and painted it to his specifications. In answer to your question, yes I paint. The XO was actually on of the earlier frames I painted. My painting has changed since then and I feel the finish is much better.
